Deinodryinus hubeni sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Male of Deinodryinus with antennal setae shorter than breadth of antennomeres (Fig. 1C); face completely sculptured by subparallel longitudinal keels (Fig. 1C); paramere (Fig. 2B) with distal extremity covered with sensorial lamellae and with inner proximal branch covered with lamellae and wrapping penis.

Material examined: Type: m# holotype: ECUADOR: Tungurahua, Rio Topo, 01°21’33’’S 78°12’33’’W, 1550m, 1.VII–13.VIII.2022, Malaise trap, Mike Huben leg. (QCAZ) .

Description of the holotype. Male (Figs 1A–D). Macropterous (Figs 1A, B); length 3.6 mm. Head (Fig. 1C) black, except mandible testaceous; antenna black; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; proleg and mesoleg testaceous, except tarsi and spot on femora and tibiae brown; metaleg blackish, except distal half of coxa, trochanter, part of femur club and proximal extremity of tibia testaceous. Antenna filiform, with setae shorter than breadth of antennomeres (Fig. 1C); antennomeres in following proportions: 14:8:18:13:12:13:11:11:10:14. Head (Fig. 1C) shiny; face completely sculptured by subparallel longitudinal keels; frontal line indistinct among the subparallel longitudinal keels; vertex punctate, unsculptured among punctures, without two oblique keels connecting posterior ocelli to occipital carina; occipital carina complete; temple punctate, unsculptured among punctures; POL = 4; OL = 2; OOL = 9; OPL = 7; TL = 7; greatest breadth of lateral ocellus as long as POL. Mesoscutum (Fig. 1D) shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.9 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal complex (Fig. 1D) dull, reticulate rugose, without posterior transverse carina between disc and propodeal declivity; propodeal declivity rugose, without longitudinal median carina. Forewing (Figs 1A, B) hyaline, with distal half slightly darkened; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein (stigmal) shorter than proximal part (11:21). Paramere (Fig. 2B) with distal extremity covered with sensorial lamellae and with inner proximal branch covered with lamellae and wrapping penis. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. Female. Unknown.
