Current status: Arnoglossus multirastris Parin, 1983

Holotype: ZIN 46156 Pacific Ocean 25 o 39′S, 85 o 39′W, 180 m, RV «Ikhtiandr», bottom trawl, tr. 80, 15.10.1980, collector Yu.V.Chmovzh.

Remarks: Three paratypes (1specimen, 221mm SL, 25°43’S, 86°35’W, 190 m, 04.10.1980,collector Yu.V.Chmovzh; and 2 specimens 77 and 205 mm SL, 25°38’S, 85°26’W, 180–190 m, 05.10.1980, collector Yu.V.Chmovzh), reported in the original description as being deposited in the ZIN collection, were not transferred there.
