Type locality: Eastern Pacific, Mexico, Baja California Sur, Ensenada de La Paz, La Paz bay, Sta. 12, 24°07’37.3’’N, 110°25’10.6’’W, June 1, 2006. This species was collected with sand nucleator in soft bottoms formed by silty sand, 24.5°C, 36.45‰, 4.302 ml/l O 2, 8.23 pH, 20 m.

Records: Only known from the type locality.
