Type locality. Korea, Youngyeongul (cave) [Yong’yeon-gul Cave].

Material examined. 1 male, 2 females on slides, Yongyeongul (cave) (N37°13´54.1˝ E128°56´24.1˝, 920 m above sea level, 843 m long showing vertical morphology) located in Gumdaebong (peak), Hwajeon-dong, Taebaek-si, Gangwon-do Province, 12-vii-2002, hand collected in dark zone (150m from entrance) of limestone cave by Choi HG leg.

Biology. It appears in the dark zone of vertical limestone cave. The cave atmosphere has a very constant temperature throughout the year: air temperature ranges from 9 to 11°C and humidity ranges from 55 to 70%.

Discussion. The present materials agreed well with the original description by Yosii (1966) based in material from the same cave. This species is considered as a troglobiont.

Distribution. Korea.
