Allorhynchium argentatum (Fabricius, 1804)

Material examined. Islamabad, 19.ix.12, 1♀; Rawalpindi, 13.ix.12, 1♀, 22.xi.11, 3♀, 17.xii.11, 1♀; Attock, 29.ix.12, 2♀, 30.ix.12, 2♂; Jhelum, 25.ix.12; Chakwal, 16.ix.12, 1♂.

Distribution. India, Pakistan, Indonesia (van der Vecht 1963).

Comments. Specimens collected from Pakistan were compared with the published description of Allorhynchium argentatum Fabricius given by van der Vecht (1963). This species is distinct due to the shape of clypeus and colour of wings different (Fig. 23 a). It is reported for the first time from Pothwar region.
