Material examined. Rawalpindi, 17.xii.11, 1♀.
Distribution. Bhutan, Pakistan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand (Bodlah et al. 2012, Srinivasan & Kumar 2010).
Comments. Collected specimens were compared with published description of Delta p. pyriforme Fabricius given by Bodlah et al. (2012). This species is distinguished by the absence of a yellow stripe on the apical part of metasomal petiole (Fig. 19 b). The mesoscutum is yellow anteriorly (Fig. 19 a).
