Remarks. Scaphidium stigmatinotum is closest to S. klapperichi Pic, 1954, but can be easily separated using the key provided in this paper. Scaphidium stigmatinotum differs from all the other Chinese species (excluding S. klapperich) in having a distinct fascia pattern of elytra. For a detailed description see Löbl 1999.
