Pseudomaraces birmanicus Heinrich, 1975

Material. Indonesia: N Sumatra, Ketambe, c 400 m, near N.P. Gn. Leuser, Mal. trap, 1 ♀ x.1994, leg. Y. van Nierop & C. van Achterberg (Leiden)

Remarks. The available ♀ differs from the original description (Heinrich 1975: 70–71) by: flagellum with 35 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere reddish, following flagellomeres black, flagellomeres 6–11 with ivory rings. The hind tibia has a small roundish smoothened area apico-externally, not a longitudinal pit as in Maraces species.

Distribution. Known from Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar, new record for Indonesia.
