Remarks: The disjunct distribution (McInnes 1994a), may reflect rarity or need for further taxonomic analysis, especially in the light of numerous recently described new Doryphoribius species (see Degma et al. 2009–2014, and key in Michalczyk & Kaczmarek 2010).
