Helicotylenchus minzi was originally described from citrus (Citrus sp.) at Kabri, Israel (Sher 1966), but has since been reported from five of the world’s biogeographic regions including: 1) Afrotropical Region in Mozambique (Marais 2001) and South Africa (Kleynhans et al. 1996), 2) Australian Region in New Zealand (Wouts & Yeates 1994), 3) Oriental Region in China (Zhang et al. 1998) and India (Fotedar & Kaul 1985), 4) Middle East in Iran (Barooti & Geraert 1994, Kashi & Karegar 2014) and 5) Palaearctic Region in Bulgaria (Katalan-Gateva 1980), Georgia (Bagatyriya 1971) and Hungary (Andrássy 1973).
