Distribution. Russia: Siberia (Republic of Altai).

Remarks. This species has been described from one male and 5 females from the South Altai Mts, at the northern extremity of the Yuzhno-Chuisky Mt. Range, the watershed of the Sebystei and Kokozek rivers, in stones at snow line, ca 2,800 m. a.s.l. According to the original description (Mikhaljova 2000) the posterior gonopod angiocoxite is provided with an anterior short lateral process (ap, see Mikhaljova 2000, page 167, Fig. 38). Nefediev (2019b) has revealed a second bifurcated anterior angiocoxal process in gonopods of the males from the Republic of Altai, Kosh-Agach District, floodplain of the Karagem River, ca 1355 m a.s.l. He also named this process ap. However, he did not note that gonopods of the males from floodplain of Karagem River have the same short anterior angiocoxal processes as the ones of the holotype (see Nefediev 2019b, Figs 2, 4). Thus, the species is rather variable. This phenomenon requires special research. Also, additional examination of the affiliation and nature of the second bifurcated process ap is needed (does it belongs to the angiocoxite?).
