Originally described from southern Brazil, the following specimen records are from Ecuador. Images of the male genitalia and the lectotype habitus are given in Perkins (2019a) .

Material examined (8): Ecuador: Napo, Limoncocha, (1°33’S, 75°35’W), 11.vi.1977, leg. P. J. Spangler & D. R. Givens (115) (7 NMNH); same locality, 14.vi.1977, leg. W. E. Steiner (1 NMNH) .
