Material examined. Xinjiang, Altay, Kalamaili— 4 ♂♂: 26.IV.‒1.V.2015, MZ & CW leg.; 5 ♂♂: 2‒4.V.2015, MZ & CW leg.; 1 ♂, 2 ♀♀: 7.V.2015, MZ & CW leg.; 4 ♂♂: 8‒9.V.2015, MZ & CW leg.; 3 ♂♂, 4 ♀♀: 11‒14.V.2015, MZ & CW leg.

Distribution. China (Xinjiang). Central Asia.

Remarks. We identified this species using the only key to species of this genus (Rohdendorf 1975). It mentions (Rohdendorf 1975: 208) a strong sexual dimorphism, which is also present in the species from Kalamaili. The genus Sphecapatoclea Villeneuve is highly in need of taxonomic revision (Szpila et al. 2019).
