Stenodema praecelsus (Distant, 1891)

Diagnosis: General color pale green to ochraceous; antennal segment I and basal half of II with erect setae as long as or longer than width of segments; segment II nearly twice as long as segment I; veins on membrane greenish. Endosoma with lobes covered by tiny spicules, and two distinct areas with spines.
Distribution: Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina (Carvalho 1975; Carvalho & Afonso, 1977)
