Genus Neotropicomiris Carvalho & Fontes, 1969

Diagnosis: Elongate dark body, dorsal surface punctate throughout, with pronotum and hemelytron, except embolium and cuneus, strongly punctate; vestiture of antennal segment I and body long and erect; eye separated from pronotum by short distance; labium reaching or surpassing posterior coxae; embolium pale, contrasting with remainder of hemelytron (Carvalho & Fontes, 1969).
