Orbella tricolor Maldonado, 1987

The genus Orbella was described by Maldonado (1987) to include three new species. O. adtricolor Maldonado, 1987 and O. lugubris Maldonado, 1987 from Brazil (Maldonado 1987, 1990) and O. tricolor from French Guiana, Guyana, and Surinam (Maldonado 1987, 1990) (Figs. 8 –9). Forero (2006) recorded the presence of O. lugubris in Colombia.
