Kochlorine .— Tomlinson, 1969: 65.

Remarks. There are currently seven described species in this genus, of which K. bihamata, was previously thought to occur in South Africa. Below we suggest that report be discounted. However, two other species belonging to this genus are reported for the first time from the region, one of which is considered new to science.
