Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 2, 7, 8). The species resembles Trichosea spp., but has yellowish-white ground colour of and different type of wing pattern with black lines and blackish suffusion interrupted by white veins; reniform rounded, connected with costal margin by black band; orbicular black, with K-shaped mark; subterminal and terminal field filled with black rounded spots; subterminal and terminal lines thin. Hindwing with orange-yellow inner margin, similar to Trichosea . Female darker than male, with more developed blackish suffusion on forewing and blackish spots on hindwing forming subterminal line. The male and female genitalia (Figs. 13, 18) are as described for the genus.
