Chonocephalus subglaber Bohart

Chonocephalus subglaber Bohart, 1947: 410 .

The association of the male paratype and female holotype, which were collected on different dates in June 1945, in a light trap and from bread fruit respectively, must remain open to question. Bohart (1947) also refers to 3 male paratypes reared from bananas in December 1945 in the same locality as the holotype female and allotype male. The only link between these three samples is the locality.

Holotype female, Guam, Point Oca, from bread fruit, 15 June 1945, G. E. Bohart (USNM ­ type No. 57995 ­ 26­66). Allotype male, as holotype, except collected in a light trap on 1 June 1945.
