Horismenus ashmeadii (Dalla Torre, 1898)

Host. Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say) on Phaseolus vulgaris L.(Schmale et al. 2002).

Distribution. NEOTROPICAL: Colombia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Note. Specimens from St. Vincent and the Grenadines described by Ashmead (1894) with the name productus and subsequently renamed “ Ashmeadii ” by Dalla Torre (1898) were confusing, then Hansson et al. (2004) states this species is not conspecific with productus from Mexico (which retains the name productus).
