Diagnosis. Legs brown; wing brown on basal two-thirds, pale brown apically; stigma hyaline, apex of costal cell dark brown; abdomen dark brown with brown pruinescence and 2 shining round spots on each side on tergites 2–6; hind femur strongly inflated with 12 short anteroventral spines, 2 ventral spines on distal quarter, posteroventral row with 4 spines on basal half and 1 near apex; hind tibia slightly arched, anterior surface flattened with longitudinal furrow; left epandrial lamella with long and stronger wavy bristles near distal margin.
Holotype male. Body: 6.5 mm. Wing: 5. mm.
Redescription. Antenna brown; pedicel with short bristles; postpedicel about twice longer than wide, slightly longer than scape and pedicel combined; arista 3 times length of antenna. Face narrow, black with pale brown pruinescence. Palpus dark brown; proboscis brown. Ocellar setae short, parallel, almost erect. Postcranium black with dense brown pruinescence; postocular setae short; occipital setae presents on lower half of postcranium, uniserial, more abundant and disordered near margin of buccal opening.
Thorax with dense brown pruinescence; scutum black with postalar callus dark brown, pleurae dark brown. Bristles black, yellowish on anterior two-thirds of scutum; 2 strong npl, the lower weaker and shorter than upper bristle; 1 pal long and strong and 2 thin bristles on postalar callus; scutellum with 1 preapical pair long and strong, 1 apical pair and 2 lateral thinner bristles about one-half to two-thirds length of preapical pair (Fig. 25).
Legs brown. Bristles brown, short and thin; mid tibia with long bristles on posterior surface. Hind femur swollen. Hind tibia slightly arched, anterior surface flattened with longitudinal furrow; hind tarsus about onehalf length of tibia (Fig. 29). Outstanding bristles: fore tibia with 1 anteroventral and 1 brown, short, posteroventral preapical bristles; fore tarsomeres 1 and 2 with dense brown pilosity ventrally, 1 dorsal bristle in the middle and 2 dark elongate and weak dorsal preapical bristles on tarsomere 1; mid tibia with 4 anterodorsal bristles along the length, bristled apically, with 1 longer ventral apical bristle reaching half of tarsomere 1; mid tarsus with ventral pilosity, 1 dorsal bristle in the middle and 1 black dorsal preapical bristle stronger than bristles of fore tarsus, 2 anteroventral sub-basal brown bristles; hind trochanter with 1 short ventral spine; hind femur with 1 anterodorsal bristle on distal quarter, 1 anterior preapical, 12 anteroventral short spines with protuberant bases, 2 ventral spines on distal quarter, 4 posteroventral on basal half and 1 preapical spines; tarsomeres 1–4 with very short anteroventral spines, 2 on tarsomere 1 and 1 on the following segments.
Wing (Fig. 59): brown on basal two-thirds, pale brown, almost hyaline apically; stigma hyaline; apex of costal cell filled out by dark brown stain.
Abdomen dark brown with dense brown pruinescence and 2 small shiny circular dorsolateral spots on tergites 2–6. Bristles brown, longer on Tg1 and on lateral of Tg2. Terminalia: hypandrium narrow, very long, surpassing the apex of epandrial lamellae; hypandrial lobe broadened, as long as length of base of hypandrium, truncated apically, with long and thin bristles (Fig. 26); epandrial lamellae with long bristles, as long as half of length of respective lamella, stronger and wavy near distal margin of left lamella (Fig. 27); left surstylus long and wide, right surstylus short and thin (Fig. 28).
Female: unknown.
Obs: it differs from L. mammifera by color of the body and legs; color of the wing and arrangement of the postocular setae; disposition, aspect and number of spines of the hind femur and anteroventral bristles of the mid tibia; hind tibia without tubercle.
