Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan).

Remarks. Zhao (2004) pointed out that the type-locality and the morphology of P. ornata yuennanensis was the same as P. ornata Leech, 1900 and hence that the subspecies was not valid. Laszlo et al. (2007) synonymized the name with P. ornata in the nomenclatory sense.
