Distribution. Bolivia, Brazil, French Guiana, Peru, Venezuela.
Remarks. Specimens from Panguana exhibit two different morphs with regard to afa (Fig. 12a, b), while external and other genital characters are rather similar across specimens. This is in line with the considerable variability reported for the apophysis of this species by La Greca & Lombardo (1990). Only a revision of the genus will show whether Mantoida brunneriana as currently understood consists of more than one taxon. New for Peru.
