TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: French Guiana. Saut Pararé sur l’Arataye (affluent gauche de l’Approuague), 17.II-6.III.1981, Michel and Christine Boulard, 1 ♂ (MNHN (EH)6389).

Allotype: French Guiana. Same data as the holotype, 1 ♀ (MNHN (EH)6388).

Paratypes: French Guiana. Same data as the holotype, 4 ♂♂ (MNHN (EH)6385, MNHN (EH)6386, MNHN (EH)6387, MNHN (EH)16485).

DISTRIBUTION. — The species is known only from French Guiana (Boulard 1986a).
