Some crucial characters are missing from the original description of R. lagoi (see Table 1), found on the island of Rhodes, but those described and illustrated suggest a typical Northern Hemisphere anopsobiid with a reduced number of spiracles. Zapparoli & Edgecombe (2011) suggest that it may have been introduced to the island of Rhodes. If so, it would most likely be from some part of Central Asia.
