Material examined. MALAYSIA, Johor: 1 male (dissected), 1 female, Kota Tinggi waterfall, 16 km. N. of Kota Tinggi, 115 m ., [1°49′50′′N, 103°49′57′′E], 13 August 1985, CL 2056, J. T. Polhemus and D. A . Polhemus (USNM) . Selangor: 2 females, pond along old Gombak road, 23 km. E. of Kuala Lumpur, 16 August 1985, CL 2069, J. T. Polhemus and D. A . Polhemus (USNM) . Pahang: 1 male (dissected), 2 females, Lata Iskander waterfall, 18 km. N. of Tapah along Cameron Highlands road, 455 m ., [4°19′28′′N, 101°19′29′′E], 18 August 1985, CL 2074, J. T. Polhemus and D. A . Polhemus (USNM) .
Discussion. This species is easily recognized by the broadly curving fore tibia in males.
Ecological notes. The range of this species includes southern Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, Singapore and the Riau Archipelago (Lansbury 1968, Nieser et al. 2008), and it would seem likely that it occurs on intervening Sumatra as well.
