Material examined. SAMC-A28218; SAMC-A28222.
Identification. Test small, ovoid, aborally arched, orally concave, depressed towards peristome. Ambulacra petals distinct, opening distally. Posterior interambulacra form keel above periproct. Periproct elongated, on truncated posterior side.
Global maximum size. Maximum test length 17 mm.
Global distribution. East coast of South Africa (Filander & Griffiths 2014); East Africa, Malayan region to Bonin Islands, Tonga Islands and New Zealand; at 35–141 m (Mortensen 1948d; Schultz, 2009).
