Distribution. French Guiana, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru (Monné 2024b; Roguet 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Acanthoderes (A.) laportei is recorded from Peru but without specific locality (Monné & Chaboo 2015; Monné 2024b, Roguet 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Thus, Lima is the first record of region and locality for the species in Peru.
