Generic diagnosis. Body medium-sized. Eyes round or oval projecting. Tegmen venation similar in both sexes, hind wings developed. Metanotal gland developed, often with 2 divided grooves (if fused, presenting with a transverse ridge in middle). Supra anal plate triangular, narrowed apically. Subgenital plate long and tapered apically. Genitalia: epiphallus long and narrowed apically, with undivided apex; epiphallic parameres shorter than epiphallus, with apex strongly sclerotized.
