Distribution in Brazil: PA, AM, MA, MT!, MG, ES, SP, RJ, SC.

Biological aspects: The two specimens observed were collected on an intermittent stream that was reduced to pools on November.

Comments: This species was known from all Brazilian macrorregions except for the Central-West, where it is herein recorded for the first time (Fig. 13).
