Platyvelia brachialis (Stål)

Distribution in Brazil: PE, MT!, GO, MG, MS, ES, RJ, SC.

Biological aspects: Three individuals have been collected on pool areas of 2nd, 4th and 5th order streams with submerged grass on margins.

Comments: This species is widely distributed in the Americas, from U.S.A. to Argentina, and in Brazil so far there are no records only from the North (Fig. 14).
