Paravelia conata (Hungerford)

Distribution in Brazil: PA, MT.

Biological aspects: A single female of this species was collected on the margins of a 2nd order portion of a stream, together with M. venustatis, mentioned above.

Comments: The material mentioned below is the same examined by Rodrigues et al. (in press). The species was known only from French Guiana and PA until this material was discovered, and in Brazil it is restricted to the Amazon and Cerrado biomes.
