Rhagovelia rivulosa Polhemus & Polhemus

Distribution in Brazil: MT, MG, SC.

Biological aspects: Collections resulted in 19 specimens from fast flowing narrow streams shaded by the riparian forest, streams on rupestrian field with high illumination, on a stream draining from a dam, and on the Suiá-Miçú River. This wide variety of habitats indicates low environmental requirements for the occurrence of the species.

Comments: So far this species has been recorded only from the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest of Brazil.
