Stridulivelia stridulata (Hungerford)

Distribution in Brazil: AP, PA, AM, MT!

Biological aspects: A couple of this species was collected in two narrow, shallow streams with gallery forest on the margins and roots on the edges.

Comments: This species had previously been recorded from Colombia, Suriname, and northern Brazil, being herein reported from the Central-West for the first time (Fig. 21). In Brazil, it has been collected on Amazon and Cerrado biomes.
