Paratypes. ♂ (NCBS-BE494): Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra, India (17.1463 N, 73.2663 E, Alt. 15 m), 22.X.2017, Dattaprasad Sawant leg. ; ♂ (NCBS- BH108): Ovalekar Wadi, Thane district, Maharashtra, India (19.2700 N, 72.9553 E, Alt. 20 m), 2.VI.2019, Shantanu Joshi leg.
Allotype. ♀ (NCBS-BE495): same locality, date and collector as the holotype. Observed in copula with NCBS- BE493.
Etymology. This species is named after the ‘Konkan’ region of Western India, which includes coastal areas of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka.
