Schulmeisteri schulmeisteri Harz, 1992

Material examined. The photographs of the holotype — Turkey: Süvarihalil Geçidi, osts. 2400 m, 14.9.1985, 1 male (leg. Hacker) (MHNG)— taken by MSc. Patrice Pfäuti from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland have been studied.

Remarks. The holotype preserved in the MHNG was strongly damaged.

Harz (1992) described this taxon as a member of Bradyporinae (= Ephippigeridae). But according to the original figures, the description (Harz, 1992) and the detailed photographs of the holotype sent to me by Patrice Pfäuti, this species is not a member of Bradyporinae (= Ephippigeridae), but belongs to Tettigoniinae . Therefore it is excluded from the subfamily Bradyporinae herein. But the validity of this taxon is doubtful (Ingrisch & Willemse, 2004).
