Pitilla, 9 km S de Santa Cecilia, 700 m, collected VIII–IX .1996, P. Rios and C. Moraga leg., UWIM. One female (point mounted), COSTA RICA, Puntarenas, San Vito, Est. Biol. Las Alturas, 1500 m, collected VI.1992, P. Hanson leg., UWIM. One female pin mounted, COSTA RICA, Alajuela, 5 km W San Ramón, 1200 m, collected IV.1997, O. Castro and P. Hanson leg., UWIM.

Comments.

The type series was described from Cuernavaca, Mexico, 23 females and 3 males reared from a lepidopterous larva on Ageratina adenophora (Spreng.) King & H.Rob. (syn. Eupatorium adenophorum) (Muesebeck 1958). This is the first record outside Mexico since its original description.
