Gonatopus natalensis Olmi 2008b: 220; 2009b: 460.

Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 2.5 mm. Head black, except clypeus, mandible and anterior third of frons testaceous; antenna brown, except antennomere 10 whitish and scape, pedicel and proximal third of flagellomere 1 testaceous; mesosoma black, except part of mesoscutum testaceous. metasoma black; legs testaceous, except coxae and clubs of femora partly brown-black (in paratype, metalegs completely testaceous, except stalks of femora brown-black). Head excavated, shiny, bare, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 1.5; OOL = 7. Palpal formula 5/2. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, unsculptured. Me- soscutum shiny, with some longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses. Metanotum transversely striate. Metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleu- ron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 11:2:3:12:19. Enlarged claw (Fig. 234A) with one small subapical tooth and 7–8 peg-like setae. Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 234A) with inner side proximally not serrate and one row of 11–13 lamellae situated in distal half; apex with 13–15 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Types: ♀ holotype: SOUTH AFRICA: KwaZulu-Natal, Port Edward, along road from R61 to Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, C. 13.IV.2007, B. 17.IV.2007, M. Olmi reared from an adult of Maiestas angustisecta (Linnavuori), SAM-HYM-P025112 (SAMC). Paratype: SOUTH AFRICA: Free State, Royal Natal National Park, 11 km E of Park Gate along Road from R74 to Park, grass along the road, C. 9 April 2007, B. 12.IV.2007, M. Olmi reared from an adult of Maiestas angustisecta (Linnavuori), 1♀ (MOLC).
