(Figs 182F, 183A, B, G, 184)

Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 5/3; pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow; mesoscutum without lateral pointed apophyses (Fig. 183A); metanotum laterally rounded (Fig. 183A); meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete; metapectal-propodeal disc without strong median longitudinal furrow; enlarged claw (Figs 182F, 183G) with apex tapering, one big subdistal tooth located very far from most distal lamella and one row of lamellae.

Description. ♀ (Fig. 184). Apterous; body length 2.7–3.0 mm (holotype 2.7 mm). Head brown, except man- dible, clypeus, malar space and anterior region of frons testaceous (in paratypes from South Africa, 33°43.745’S 21°56.972’E and 33°39.941’S 21°53.505’E, head black, except mandible, part of clypeus and two short frontal stripes along orbits testaceous-whitish); antenna brown, except ventral side of scape and flagellomeres 6–8 whitish (in paratype from South Africa, 33°43.745’S 21°56.972’E, antenna brown, except ventral side of scape and distal half of flagellomere 8 whitish; in paratype from South Africa, 33°39.941’S 21°53.505’E, antenna brown, except ventral side of scape and flagellomeres 7–8 whitish)); mesosoma and metasoma brown ((in paratype from South Africa, 33°43.745’S 21°56.972’E, mesosoma black, except lateral regions and posterior margin of pronotum and great part of mesoscutum testaceous); legs brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:4:9:4:4:4:4:4:4:7. Head excavated, shiny, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 1; OOL = 7; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli longer than POL (2:1). Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum shiny, crossed by strong transverse impression, unsculptured. Mesoscutum dull, unsculptured, laterally without pointed apophyses (Fig. 183A). Metanotum narrow, excavated behind mesoscutellum (Fig. 183B), with sides protruding; lateral protrusions of metanotum rounded (Fig. 183A). In paratypes metanotum little protruding, so that metapectalpropodeal disc almost fusiform. Metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity and metapleuron transversely striate. Mesopleuron unsculptured. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 9:2:4:11:19. Enlarged claw (Figs 182F, 183G) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 6–13 lamellae (six in holotype). Protarsomere 5 (Figs 182F, 183G) with two rows of 15–21 lamellae (15 in holotype); apex very large (Figs 182F, 183G) and provided with at least 50 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
