2. Lonchodryinus madagascolus Olmi, Copeland & van Noort, sp. nov.

Diagnosis. ♀ of Lonchodryinus with head and prothorax mostly black (Fig. 98B); forewing with two dark transverse bands; protarsomere 5 with three rows of lamellae, one of which composed of lamellae about as long as breadth of protarsomere 5 (Fig. 96E).

Description. ♀ (Figs 98B, 99). Fully winged; body length 4.6 mm. Head black, except mandible and clyp- eus ferruginous; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 8–10 brown; prothorax black, except lateral margins of pronotum and pronotal tubercle ferruginous; rest of mesosoma ferruginous-reddish, except proximal extremity of mesopleuron black; tegula testaceous; metasoma and legs ferruginous-reddish. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 14:8:21:12:9:8:8:9:9:11. Head (Fig. 99C) shiny, strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line complete; frons without keels along orbits directed towards antennal toruli; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 11; OPL = 11; TL = 7; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than OPL (5:11); occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, with few punctures, unsculptured among punctures, with strong anterior transverse furrow; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Posterior surface of pronotum shorter than mesoscutum (15:27). Mesoscutum (Fig. 99A) shiny, with few punctures, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.8 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum swollen, shiny, unsculptured. Mesopleuron shiny, unsculptured, except anterior black area and posterior third rugose. Metapleuron shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc without transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels, with central area unsculptured and shiny. Forewing (Fig. 99D) hyaline, with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein about as long as proximal part; 2R1 cell open. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 13:4:6:15:31; protarsomere 3 produced into hook; protarsomere 2 not produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Fig. 96E) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 96E) with three rows of approximately 60 lamellae (one row is composed of 11 lamellae about as long as breadth of protarsomere 5); apex with approximately 12 lamellae (among which one very long lamella). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Etymology. The Latin adjective madagascolus means “inhabiting Madagascar ”, country where the new species was collected.
