Remarks. The speices is new to China and was originally described from Muang Sing City of North Laos, which is about 100 km away from Nabanhe Nature Reserve. The apical sclerotized area of aedeagal median lobe is slightly narrower in population of Yunnan than that of the holotype, which is considered as the variation of the species. The species is similar to D. hainanensis, but can be distinguished from it by larger body size, shorter elytral spots and less pointed apical sclerotized area of aedeagal median lobe.
