Limnophora flavitarsis Stein in Becker, 1908: 99 .

This western Mediterranean species (Canary Islands and Corsica) was recorded by Stein (1913: 515) from the Transvaal, South Africa, but this record has not been repeated and the identification seems very doubtful.
