Limnophora pseudospinipes (Zielke, 1971a: 295) .

Holotype female in NMSA (not seen).

Diagnosis. Colour pattern of scutum as in Fig. 7 of Zielke (1971a); 2 pairs of reclinate orbital setae; presutural acrostichal setulae 3-serial; dorsocentrals 2+4; prosternum bare; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 1 preapical seta; mid tibia with 2 posterior setae; katepisternals 1+2; haltere yellow; vein R4+5 with setulae at base on dorsal and ventral surfaces.

Notes. Originally described in Spilogona . Zielke stated that this species leads to S. gilvifrons in Emden’s (1951) key, but S. gilvifrons is in the section of the key with 3 postsutural dorsocentrals whereas S. pseudospinipes is described with 4 postsutural dorsocentrals.
