Diagnosis: This species is only known from the female. It can be distinguished from other Anthidium species by T6 with deep semicircle median emargination on distal margin (Fig. 36g), apical margin of clypeus finely serrate, projected downward medially (Fig. 36c).
Material examined: China, Xizang: Zanda Xian, Diyamayang (31º24′N, 79º48′E), 3500 m, 1 ♀ (holotype), 29. VI .1976, leg, Fu-Sheng HUANG .
Type locality. China: Xizang: Zanda (Zada) Xian, Diyamayang .
Distribution: China (Xizang).
Floral association: unknown.
Subgenus Anthidium (Proanthidium) Friese, 1898
Diagnosis: Proanthidium s. str. can be distinguished from subgenus Anthidium s. str. by the posterior margin of the scutellum rounded, without a spine laterally, and distinctly overhanging metanotum and propodeum.
