Nenteria hypotrichus El-Borolossy & El-Banhawy, in Afia 1995 is a nomen nudum. Nenteria hypotrichus was described in an unpublished Ph D thesis by Afia (1995). Afia (1995) does not make the name N. hypotrichus available because the dissertation does not meet the criteria for publication (ICZN Article 8.1.3). El-Banhawy et al. (1997) also does not make the name available because they did not designate type specimens (ICZN Article 72.3), but it is included here because it represents a taxonomically useful concept.
