Genus Sinodessus Jiang & Jia, nom. nov.

532 (type species † Sinoporus lineatus Prokin & Ren, 2010).

Type species. Sinoporus tianmingyii Zhao & Jia, 2021: 1048, by present designation.

Etymology. The generic name is a combination of “ Sino -” from Latin “ Sinae ” (China) and “- dessus ” from Bidessus (type genus of the tribe Bidessini). The gender of the name is masculine.
