vietnamensis -species group

Members of this group can be distinguished from species of daiqini -group by the presence of a large apical flag-like embolic apophysis (EA) on the back side of the embolus (Figs 116, 134). Body is rather dark, with three conspicuous golden setal bands of scale setae on carapace and dorsal abdomen (Fig. 108; except for the male of C. vietnamensis, which has the bands on the lateral sides reduced).

Species included. Chalcovietnamicus lii (Lei & Peng, 2010), C. vietnamensis (Żabka, 1985) .
