Distribution. Great Britain, West Europe, Belarus, Ukraine, Central and South European Russia, North Africa, Asian Turkey, Iran (Knížek 2011a; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Arnoldi et al. (1955) from Caucasus and Transcaucasia without country data. Armenia: reported by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1957) (as both P. cylindrus and P. cylindriformis Reitter, 1895) from Tsav (Syunik Province), and by Mirzoian (1977) from North Armenia and Syunik Province.
