Setose patch short, irregular-shaped, inflated distally. Vinculum about 2/3 the length of tegumen plus uncus; lateral lobes arisig from distal 4/5 of vinculum, about 1/2 the length of vinculum. Saccal region broad, produced in triangular on anterior margin. Sica single, stout, about 2/3 the length of vinculum. Aedeagus shuttle-shaped, narrowed in basal 1/3, blunt at apex; one sclerotized internal lobe arising from zone, gradually narrowed to sharp apex, slightly exceeding apex of aedeagus; two sclerotized lobes from zone on ventral surface, about 1/3 length of aedeagus, symmetrical, sharp and excurvate apically.
Female unknown.
Distribution. Vietnam (Vinh Phuc).
Diagnosis. This species is similar to Dichomeris neixiangensis Li & Wang, 1999, but it can be distinguished from the latter by the forewing with yellowish ground color; the lateral lobe of the vinculum gradually narrowed in basal 1/3, the aedeagus having one clerotized internal lobe. In D. neixiangensis, the forewing ground color is yellowish brown; the lateral lobe of the vinculum is gradually narrowed to apex, and the aedeagus has no clerotized internal lobe.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin prefix, -ochro (= ochreous), with a Latin suffix, – ellus, referring to the ochreous yellow fascia in the forewing.
