Type material. Holotype ♂, VIETNAM: Vinh Phuc Prov.: Tam Dao. Nat. Park, 900 m, 09 vii 2003, leg. KT Park, gen. slide no. CIS-6281, in NIBR.

Description. Adult (Fig. 13). Wingspan 19.5 mm. Head grayish yellow dorsally, pale yellow posteriorly. Ocellus present. Antenna with scape yellowish brown dorsally, pale yellow ventrally; flagellum yellowish brown with dark-brown annulations dorsally, with fine cilia. Second segment of labial palpus dark brown on outer surface, yellowish white on inner surface, with grayish white-tipped triangular scale tuft on dorsal surface; 3rd segment smoothly clothed, as long as 2nd segment, dark brown excepting pale-yellow basal 5/6 dorsally. Thorax grayish yellow; tegula grayish yellow; mesothoracic anepisternum with pale-yellow hair-pencils in male. Fore- and midleg dark brown on outer surface, femora and tibiae yellowish white, tarsi yellow on inner surface; hindleg grayish yellow on outer surface, pale yellow on inner surface, tibia clothed with long, yellowish scales. Forewing broad; ground color grayish yellow, sparsely scattered with brown scales, with weak, pale-yellow postmedian line visible; discal and discocellular spots dark brown; plical spot dark brown, placed at middle of fold; dark brown dots along termen at end of each veins; costa slightly arched beyond 2/3; apex obtuse; termen slightly concave before middle, with small black dots along margin; fringe concolorous with ground color. Hind wing broader than forewing, brownish gray; fringe concolorous with ground color.

Male genitalia (Fig. 39): Uncus more or less trapezoidal, broadly expanded distally, setose sparsely on ventral surface, with two long setae near posterior margin; anterior margin concave in triangular. Gnathos slender, long, bent near basal 1/3, with sharply pointed apex; culcitula triangular, bluntly rounded on posterior margin, densely setose. Valva about equal to the length of tegumen plus uncus, bluntly rounded at apex; free ventral lobe about 1/2 length of valva, acute apically, densely setose in distal 2/3. Setose patch columnar, inflated distally, about 1/3 length of valva. Vinculum narrow band, about 2/3 length of tegumen plus uncus; anterior part of vinculum almost at right angles with lateral arms, excavated in saccal region; a pair of heavily sclerotized, more or less sickle-shaped, asymmetrical lateral processes arising from near middle: left one slender, about 2/3 length of vinculum and right one loner than left one. Saccal region concave on anterior margin medially. Sicae with a pair of slender processes, slightly asymmetrical, about 2/3 length of lateral arms of vinculum. Aedeagus membraneous in basal 1/4, narrowed basally; a heavily sclerotized flange from distal 3/5 along margin, exceeding apex of aedeagus, sharply acuted apically; internal lobe arising from zone, broad in basal 2/3, slightly narrowed to sharp apex in distal 1/3; two weakly sclerotized, different sized lobes arising from zone: longer one about 3 times length of shorter one.

Female unknown.

Distribution. Vietnam (Vinh Phuc).

Diagnosis. This species is superficially similar to Dichomeris fuscusitis Li & Zheng, 1996, but it can be separated from D. fuscusitis by the forewing with fascia absent; the male genitalia with lateral lobes arising from basal 4/5 of the vinculum, and the aedeagus having one sclerotized internal lobe. In D. fuscusitis, the forewing has an obvious fascia distally, the lateral lobe arising from distal 2/3 of the vinculum, and the aedeagus has no sclerotized internal lobe.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin, - longi (= long), referring to the valva with a long ventral lobe.
